Figuratively speaking, I'd have to say either the Imperial Scrambler Rifle, or the Duvolle Assault Rifle. Both can kill much faster and more reliably in CQC than equivalent shotguns.
If you are talking actual shotguns, you can't beat the CreoDron Shotgun in pure killing potential. The Duvolle Specialist has a tiny ammo pool that runs out way too fast if you are trying to flank (and, thus, are without support). The Allotek Breach fires too slow to actually take advantage of its high damage, it's alright against randoms in STD/ADV gear, but you can kill a Proto much faster with the CreoDron and go much longer without finding more ammo. The 'Dren' is a BPO, but who cares if it doesn't cost anything if you aren't even earning any ISK with it? I can earn more ISK with a CRG-3 than with a BPO STD. |

I had my answer ready before I even started the contest. I have not once changed my answer throughout this entire contest and I would have been fully prepared to give 1m ISK to the person who guessed correctly.
Please, do not be angry over the fact that you didn't win the 1m ISK. Your inability to "Think outside the box" is not a problem nor concern of mine.
