I prefer to find the sniper and chill out with him. One time I just sat on the hill shoulder to shoulder with a guy sniping. He was so oblivious. I had my friend come up and check it out. I finally got bored and took my flaylock walked directly up behind him and give him flaylock melee in the head lol. He turned and was like wtf so I popped a mini missile into his chest and walked of the hill with a grin on my face.

I put a remote explosive under them then crouch and slowly walk in front of him. He is like dafuq.. then boom he goes flying i then proceed to teabag with no mercy

As a sniper, my favorite way to be killed is with nova knives. Lights out.
Because the procedure is mostly done by my brother scouts.
But, I get killed from mostly from my own stupidity.
If I do not move from a taunt of an attempt to kill, I will be hunted down with
an enormous amount of disdain to my attempt of.
But I do not like being killed by my teams actions.
Most of the time my team acts in good faith,
plants a hive near me,
keeps me company in my sweet lil spot while announcing to all our neat lil spot.
And my favorite, taking up residency right in front of me during a shot.
Some of you guys take it really personal being taken out by a sniper,
But then, I do too at times, by an AR over 100m.
This is a fun game :)

I, too, like to hunt in a scout suit with a shotgun...but I find it to be so much more entertaining to not only walk up behind them, but walk AROUND them and look into their eyes before pulling the trigger.

If they are in a logi suit I know not to worry about their side arm (except Amarr) so when I sneak up on a logi sniper I take great pleasure in trying to force them to commit suicide with the grenades they throw. If that fails I use my STD nova knives and circle them using the non-charge slash to slowly cut them to death.
If they have a side arm they get a nova knife charge to the head if its a heavy they get RE'd.
However if its a thales sniper I drop a MLT lav on them to see how good their awareness of their surroundings are, if they don't notice the RDV they get flattened if they do and start to move I detonate the RE.
TEST signature please help me think of a better one.

Place Uplink, wait for blueberry to spawn, make sure he sees, and kills the sniper.

Snuck up on one in my scout suit with my usual build and had an entire discussion with a heavy that is in my corp on how we should kill him. In the end we picked plasma cannon to the back of the head. But we must have had a 5 minute conversation sitting there.
Dedicated scout. Because the suit is underpowered. Imagine the good ones when we get buffed people ;)

i put a proximity on themthen shoot the proximity, i think this works only in PC though.. but you get like 50 rage mails afterwards XD
Heavies are still squishy to my AR, just 5 rounds into them extra ;D

Get right behind him, walk in a little 8 pattern to see if he's even listening (because I know he's not checking scans)
Once I know he's just being completely inattentive to his surroundings, I'll give him a single shot from my SMG and let him run in terror for a minute before I desecrate his body.

Counter sniper is a big hug for me. I have a good idea where to find them as well.
what's a real blast is when your shopping for nest, you found one, but,
the nest already has a resident cooped in it.... ;)
No matter what you use to slay the chicken hawk, it is always fun

Typically, I use one of two things.
1. I unholster my breach scrambler pistol and take careful aim at the head at point blank range. Then... I execute the red dot.
2. I plant remote explosives, walk away slowly, and push the button, singing 'cool guys don't look at explosions'.

Walk up behind them drop remote explosive. Send mail saying behind you. Detonate remote explosive. It never gets old. Also trying to drop vehicles on blue redline snipers. |

I love all these answers - they fill my heart with joy knowing snipers make you all so mad. My favorite is when someone Counter-Snipers - i love getting taken down by my Sniper brethren.
But if i see a red-line sniper, i go out of my way to hunt him down and blast him to oblivion - whether on my team or not. I get creative sometimes too...but oh, i won't tell you the gruesome tales, 'tis a story for another time.

I just shoot them in the back of the head. They can't get up fast enough. Once I get killed or hit a few times, I go hunting for them. I got headphones on when I play so I just listen for where the sound of the rifle. Once I figure that out, I Continue on my path and handle the situation.

Sometimes I call in my Rail Tank and shoot them from my redline.. I'm to lazy to run all the way over there. A 600m turret kill is so much easier. |
