Ran a Mini Logi with triple scanners yesterday in a full saquad while playing domination, and I got over 1000 WP just from scanning. Needless to say, the enemy team was visible the entire time, and they all had a "You Have Been Scanned" notification every two seconds. The cooldown on scanners are individual to each unit, so enjoy this incredibly easy way to rake in WP that is also incredibly cheap.

So how does this actually work... im using one complex dampener and 99% of the time i get the message "Scan has been prevented" Do the scannerguy get some kind of hint that there is still somebody there?... They sure seem surprised when i reveal myself If they dont i really dont see how the scanner can be "so-called" overpowered... since its rather easy to still stay hidden |

They're a waste of fitting room and ISK otherwise. If someone evaded a scan, the scanner is told that there was "Some Margin of Error".

I very rarely see this message running as scout these days, too few are using the focus proto scanner, I miss the "you have been scanned" message. It used to get the adrenaline pumping, now no one notices me |

Actually I believe if you dampen to something like below 3dB of the scanner they get no message at all

I have absolutely no proof of this, but I think it's something like that. I use advanced quantum scanner and when I scan I get the 'no margin for error' - message but second later I lay dead on the ground from shotgun scout.

I run both scout and logi with scanners. Though my scout needs some work I have certainly surprised a fair few people. Also several times our team has cornered a scout, I put a scan out and got NO MARGIN OF ERROR
Lies! lol

Yep, and this kind of crap is why they are getting multiple orbitals in a row too.
