This would make the relationship between infantry and vehicles a lot stronger. I remember dev blogs saying that the devs want infantry and vehicle gameplay to be together and NOT seem to be parts of the game that are separate from each other.
I was thinking the reward could be 5 WP for every 450 HP repaired on the vehicle or installation. (should not give rewards if the installation is neutral and not hacked or is hacked by the enemy team)

Anything that increases the number of points I get as a logi is a good thing. I heal tanks, LAVs and dropships, anyways, (including mine) give me points for doing so.

This idea could also be extended to vehicle repair modules that repair other vehicles instead of the vehicle equipped with the remote repair module. |

This became a problem back in the closed beta so they removed points for repairing vehicles.
I think that they need to give us points for repairing vehicles using vehicles first.

Just do as they did with infantry repairs... Only damage inflicted through enemy means.
Or does that make too much sense?

Ok...so...The initial reason why the removed repair WP for vehicles was that people were slamming their LAVs back and forth into a wall while their friends repaired them. I remember hilariously that the Ice Cream Warrior guys calling down 7 orbital strikes within a few minutes. But...You could make it so that you only receive points for reps if the tanker has made a kill infantry/vehicle ect...I think the SP cap in games is still working so it could help ease issues if both teams are conspiring to farm SP.

You could make the game mechanic work in such a way that the game selects only damage that has been applied by the enemy team, not collision damage or friendly fire damage, and the total damage received by that enemy becomes the amount of HP that you can repair the vehicle or installation to gain WP. Repairing beyond the HP value that matches the damage applied by the enemy team, gets you no WP.
The feature of the 'WP capacity per minute' in the game, which is the WP that can be gained per minute without temporarily reducing WP rewards in each game match, should help reduce the abuse of this feature that I am suggesting (WP for vehicle and installation repair). |

It proved to be a problem in Beta. People farming Wp's from intentionally damageing their own vech's and repairing. Don't know how they could fix this. |

+1, I try to Rep any vehicle on the field regardless,but just think of the out cry if we were allowed to get more points and possibly due I even say it score higher than some mercs.Our kind would be even more ridiculed for earning points from not killing reds but for helping our fellow mercs on the field.Release the hounds there is witchery afoot. |
