This person is a scrub that doesn't realize the diiference between shield and armor.
Armor is supposed to have a lot more HP than shields due to it's nature and characteristics. The problem with this game is that there needs to be penalties for using a defense outside of a suits specialization (maybe even racial).
Minmatar would get a slice of both worlds being the cunning bastards they while Caldari are penalized on armor and Gallente penalized on shields.
Amarr is a special case as what makes an amarrian, an amarrian, isn't even in the game. |

Armor is supposed to have a lot more HP than shields due to it's nature and characteristics. . So is speed loss. A 700 Armor Gal Logi HOULD NOT Be 1.5 Faster in speed than a 600 Armor Heavy.Plain and simple.Want more armor than a heavy? then Run slower. (not AS slow as a heavy , but srsly...)
I understand however you would be AGAINST this, you being a proto Gal Logi and all... *Makes scrubbing noise*

I heard his order, Mr Krabs. He says he wants [squeak squeak] LOOL.
funny thing is that I'm not even a G. Logi, he's just a "butthurt" child. |

Also The Amarr suits are always the slowest suits out there on top of that heavy suits are the slowest suits in the game, I'm pretty sure a Gallente Heavy with 600 armor (basically what a Gallente Heavy would be right at the start) will be on par with a Gallente Logistics at 700 hp |

ARMOR being directly related to SPEED?
Thats is your opinion? More armor = more speed penalty? Yes that's the way it should be, I'm lost with that post?
Armor = a lot of things positive and negative?
Minmatar heavy will be the fastest of the heavies and will probably be the only heavy with the option to tank either way efficiently.
This [Minmatar] heavy will (off the bat) have more armor than the Caldari heavy yet will be the fastest one, Caldari will have the benefit of being the fastest one while still having a ton of tank, probably around 900-1000 shield at max level (unless Minmatar speed tanks a heavy which sounds hilarious but impractical with Min specs) |

I have tried running fast regen/regulation assault ck.0 suit (what I originally speced into) when AA was buffed. The range at which you engage doesnt matter. You NEED armor buffer since 1.6 if your are a shield tanker. Armor tankers dont need shield buffers (and can hence stack damage mods in high slots). This is where the true imbalance is derived from IMO. That isn't the problem.nthe problem is that it is harder to evade enemy fire due to the (too powerful, IMO) aim assist. Shields were never meant to be able to stand still and compete with armor tankers in a HP/DPS standoff. They are meant to strafe around them, and generally try not to get hit. Unfortunately, the improved HD and Aim Assist make this harder than it should be. Pretty much this. And to answer your question Spectral Clone I've done everything in this game. |

The dark cloud wrote:Nope if i loose mobility then i want more firepower as a option instead. And im not taking kin cats just to run on the same lvl like a caldari assault while he deals more damage. And besides did any 1 tried to ue a massdriver against armor? i bet you didnt cause its the most effective weapon to use against gallente-amarr suits. Dont believe me? go ahead and tell me if a gallente assault can survive more then 4 shots from a freedom massdriver.
And at no point in dust where damage mods low slot modules. Trough the beta it was allways a highslot module and thats it. It stays where it is cause its "established" by CCP. more than 3 shots really. |
