Most of you people who play this game should know better than your letting on . IT DOESN'T MATTER ABOUT THE GEAR when your talking about matchmaking , when you come across someone who has a particular weapon maxed out . That's the thing that's mind blowing . This is all I hear , " Let's make the matches go by meta levels " or "Let's not allow prototype gear in certain matches " or " Let's create a system where like plays like and that's how we can solve the matchmaking problem ".
ALL WRONG !!!!! Gear is not the deciding factor , nor is it the Meta Levels ( I keep remembering when I wrote a thread about Meta Levels and what is their role in the game ...???... and most told me that Meta Levels once meant something but now they don't because of all the changes that the game has gone threw ) it's the actual skills that makes a difference .
What difference does it make if you create a game mode ( so to say ) where you limit the gear that's in a person's arsenal , I.E. : a mode where Advanced is used or a mode where MLT , so that's the only choice of gear that is allowed and you have a vet ( so to say) versus someone that's relatively new , that more experienced player will trump the fairly new player most of the time because the weapons are the same but the performance will be exceedingly different . Not to say in the department of battlefield awareness that the vet has more because that's not always the case . A fairly new person might not understand the mechanics of the game but their battlefield awareness ( from other games or they might be in the military or ex military so they know what to look for ) might give them an edge in that department , but the weapons WILL perform differently .
Having your skill tree maxed out makes ALL the difference . Sharpshooter ( not a wasted skill like I have seen some say ) level five , Proficiency level five , Reloading skills level five , Ammo skills level five and any other skill that effects the performance will give SOME type of an advantage . Core skills level five WILL make a difference . I mean , why are you people who play this game acting like these thing DON'T matter or have an effect .
Placing people in like gear is NOT a solution . You cannot negate the work that someone has placed into their individual skill tree and that's where the problem is because THAT makes all the difference . You will just have MTL and Advanced stomping or better yet , you will have the truth . Some have played this game longer than others and some have placed their SP's in places that make them more effective .

Let's just admit that we don't know the solution to this problem . So this is where we ACT like we care about this game and BEGIN to come together and ACT like adults and find a solution . Matching people in like gear is not a solution . Newer players still will not have fun . That's an insult to their level of understanding . You will only MASK the problem .
Let's STOP talking about respec's , asking for things that we know we will not get ( useless game content and changes that will be counterproductive ) and wasting the time of those who are working to make this game better and increase the player base . Stop talking about how this game is dying and what is wrong ( we all know the core problems ) and begin to come up with solutions . I'm tired of all the complaining and bitterness . It doesn't help nor does it make ANY since and after a while it gets tiring and old .
Time to step up and be part of the solution and stop being part of the problem .

Don't think in not still mad about my tanks CCP . I AM TIRED of this waste of time on nonsensical topics but the collective . Let's make this game better so it can and will become a part of this ( PS3 ) games foundation but also give it a reason to become a part of the PS4 arsenal as well .
Let's STOP wasting time !!!!! Me myself , I don't plan on playing video games when I'm 60 ( living out my golden years and enjoying life hopefully with grandchildren ) and at the rate this is going it won't even be anywhere done even by then .
