Unfortunately, that's not true. Depending on what resources are required, and how much, most likely there will be an abundance. There'd have to be 10s of thousands of people all demanding the same item. Won't happen. Good thought though.
Also, resources replenish at downtime, as far as ores. Planet production, I'm not sure how often those are anymore. |

Okay, I need clarification/confirmation...
The player market items will be produced by Eve players only because Dust mercs won't have the ability to gather materials or produce the items ourselves correct?

Yes, the market is far more complex and requires a lot more work to manipulate than just buying things up and reselling them at higher prices.
The only way you'd be able to get away with that is buying them in a market hub and reselling them in a remote system.

Only in backwater places, or away from the major trade centers, are things really a problem with prices far above or below what an item is truly "worth" or simply not even being able to find something. Just get close to Jita and you'll find anything and everything for sale with competitive fair prices... granted close to Jita you will NEVER find a "good deal" either, those are backwater only...
But still...
