Do you know how much of a threat an HAV can be to my infantry. I destroy vehicles on sight because if I don't they will come back to kill me a few minutes later.

I don't hate HAVs. I hate the possibility of someone going 57-0 because I was too lazy to do something about them.

I don't sit still when I see a railgun. I jump and strafe to match their ROF.

Why don't pilots understand this. If your red, your dead. Tell me, why shouldn't I destroy you when I get the first chance?

AV =/= Completely dominate and render vehicles useless. AV = Counterpart of vehicles that combats vehicles.

HAVs are worth 200-300 points, are far too detrimental to my team if left unchecked, and best of all if I kill it I know the person is out a small fortune. As for people staying still to Rails... Though if I see mlt on the tac readout of your vehicle ill come after you even though im a dedicated scout. Something about killing a tank with a plasma cannon. Dedicated scout. Because the suit is underpowered. Imagine the good ones when we get buffed people ;)

I go behind my redline with no shields left, on fire, to try to regenerate, and some asshat runs right into my redline and zergs me with a combination of swarm and AV nades, then dies when the redline timer runs out....sometimes I think that AV is rewarded too much for HAV kills, they go insane for them. I don't often go out of my way to kill infantry. sorry infantry you're at the bottom of my list (enemy AV, enemy vehicles, enemy installs, neutral installs, enemy infantry in that order). infantry is hard to hit and worth half the points of anything else on the list. the only time I really try to kill infantry is when they are in the way. No more than the concept there is a universal hatred by HAV TCs towards anyone who can kill them. There are individuals and some who group together hating for whatever bizarre reason. Competitiveness can feel like persecution as well. Aside the Gunlogi has gotten a raw deal these days. It is hardly fair that people who missed out on the last time they were a win-button should have to pay for it. "She may not be Miss Right but she'll do right now." SR-71 310k+ SP for +0.05m/s (>2in) on a Heavy. Totally worth it.

I don't care particularly what type of tank it is, though I tend to only kill rails rarely. Since you can't really live off av wps, my av fit is a cheap one, just the starter with an adv smg, std av grenades and a few other improvements. I still haven't specced into swarm launchers, though. I get annoyed at having to constantly beat HAVs down to an inch of their life just for them to waltz away until they feel like harassing us again, so the occasional kill makes me rejoice. I may have lost an adv suit when I first got to the domination's objective, before I could do anything, because of an HAV. But the HAV's driver and his LAV buddies will get to enjoy losing their precious vehicles, and the fact that that costs them infinitely more than my dropsuits, both the adv/standards I normally use and the cheap dedicated av fits I used to eliminate them, consoles me and gives me great joy. In short, watching their fancy ride getting turned into a dutch oven, with the driver and his crew inside it, and the warpoints/isk that follow, warms something deep inside me. edit: I would like to add that my favorite kill was when I hijacked a militia HAV yesterday in an ambush. It was fun, even though I happened to be inside it with another random team mate, when its previous owner's team mates grenaded it to death. I almost got a cqc railgun kill on an Amarrian suit with the main gun before I went. We couldn't run, I guess it's user didn't throw in a engine boost.
