Shield vs Armor Collision/Terrain Damage
CCP said in their latest dev blog, the vehicles will take less damage from collision, though I'm not to sure they were working on the Shield v Armor collisions, hopefully they will have..
Speed, acceleration, and handling
Armor vehicles have the same listed speeds as shield vehicles. Why is this if shield vehicles are supposed to follow a hit and run plan of attack? Currently, it is still as bad as when the speeds were skewed from the start of uprising. Shield vehicles should be significantly faster than their armor variants. (50%)
Armor vehicles also accelerate more quickly. This leads to better utilization of top end speed, which is skewed towards armor, and furthermore distance traveled. Shields should accelerate like they have nitrous ALL THE TIME. This would allow them to follow the guidelines of hit and run tactics.
Handling is also completely broken. Armor tanks can literally do circles around gunloggis with a skilled pilot. This should be the complete opposite. Controls have also shown a lot of inconsistency at times. Ex. push stick left and tank pivots to the right.
Caldari use far ranged weaponry (Rail) and while they are meant for "Hit and Run", it doesn't mean get within a few meters and then hope to outrun a Gallente tank. If that was the case it'd be broken. The Gallente have a faster Acceleration, to get the jump on any Caldari vehicle that decides to take the above approach, but are slower due to the new balancing in 1.7 (Armor is heavier and slows you down more.)
The Caldari vehicles will move faster than the Gallente vehicles, but the Gallente will get up to top speed faster than the Caldari, so if you're long ranging with the Caldari HAV (You know, with its weapon the Railgun) you will easily escape a Gallente HAV using its main weapon, Blaster.
Your idea of 50% faster is foolish and would make the Caldari the main choice for everything, and the idea of nitrous all the time? LOL no.
Also what? Speaking as a Gunnlogi pilot I don't experience any difficulty with handling, perhaps I'm just amazing?

Aye, Turrets can be very ******* annoying, hope it gets fixed.
Roadkill Nerf I don't think it should be an "instakill" as I spend my time running over people alot with the Gunnlogi..
