I can accept either of the following as compensation for the loss of those four specific BPOs that CCP Frame mentioned.
1. The AUR value of the BPOs (as it currently stands) 2. A replacement BPO of the same type (example: BPO module for another BPO module, not a BPO suit) 3. 1x 30-Day Omega Active Booster 4. 1x 30-Day Passive Booster 5. The ability to open that damn door... (ahem)
I'm one of those players who got BPOs at dirt cheap prices, but I will still be happy regardless if I was one of those who paid 4800 AUR since I'll be getting the same amount back in that case.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.

That is your opinion. You see the AUR you get now as worthless because you don't like the other options offered right now (AUR consumables like the weapons and Boosters). I like these other options therefore they are worth equally as much as when I first bought the AUR.
Of course, that still doesn't mean they are equally worth it to you if that's how you want to see it.

xLuca Brasi wrote:1. bpo's were an attractive item influencing people to buy aur
2. its evident in the sliding aur sales that many felt this way and find the selection on the aur market sub par.
3. if you owned a giftcard to a 4 star restaurant with the best food ever made and then they changed to a mcdonalds menue,
when do you think that card held the most value?
as a 4 star restaurant, or as mickey D'S?
the aur market is now mickey D'S
not my opinion, fact exhibited by aur sales and the complaints of the gear.
1. True.
2. What sliding AUR sales? Where do you get your figures from? I don't see a graph anywhere that I can access that gives me a live feed of what's happening.
3. I look at it this way. A $5 gift card is still worth only $5 to me. Money is money. I don't care if the food they offer has changed.

3. 5$ is 5$ true but what you get for that 5$ has different values to the buyer. better food tastes better than bad food. wouldn't you rather spend your 5$ on good food?
2. Then don't assume. It makes an ASS out of U and ME.
3. That's subjective. What's bad food for you is good food for me. I still like McD's.

For $5 at McD's, I can get a whole meal with a drink.
For $5 at a 5-star restaurant, I can only afford the fries.

What's hardee's? Yeah, comes to show how unpopular they are.

Whole. Meal. With. Drink.
Can't compete with that.

I swear, you're one of the very few people I can have a sensible conversation with here on the subject. I can't even get Yelsha to tell me what he said exactly to those consumer rights groups.
