I can kind of understand the GalLogi thing, but please, PLEASE Mr. Cat, SAY that it is the GalLogi in these thread titles! I have points in all the Minmatar and Amarr Medium Dropsuits, Logi and Assault, and I fear for their Logistics suits if these threads are taken out of context as to apply to all Logistics players. We understand all the complaints lodged towards the State and the Federation, but the Empire and Tribes, for once, did nothing wrong :c

We understand all the complaints lodged towards the State and the Federation, but the Empire and Tribes, for once, did nothing wrong :c Amarr - Maybe. The Assault has nearly the same CPU/PG, which is a good thing. Minmatar - Why? They start off with assault like speed, have 4/4/4 slots. I honestly don't see why they are an exception.
Maybe because I just don't use prototype gear(ISK bonfires are more cost efficient) but they seem far weaker than their French/Japanese counterparts. The Minny suit doesn't even have a bonus relate-able to combat, and has rather low base HP besides. Maybe the proto's slots make up for that, but I wouldn't be caught dead in that. All those mods would be like pissing away ISK :c
Also, Minny Logi has Assault like speed... for the rest of the races. Pretty sure Minny Assault is faster still, with a decent slot layout.
Personally, I'd rather see the Tiering system die out and just have Minmatar Logi suit, not Minny Logi MLT, STD, ADV, and PRO. Feels like fake progression to me, especially seeing as the suits are the 'ships' of DUST. I don't get a super Thrasher at Minmatar Destroyers 3. Guns can have that leeway I suppose, as turrets have a system like that in EVE, but the Dropsuits just feel erg. But I'm getting off topic, don't mind my tangent...
Reason I didn't say anything about Amarr was because we all know it's the runt of the litter. It's just an ASsault with an extra equip slot in exchange for some fitting, if I remember correctly. Which I doubt I do.

Look at that. First of all, that Gallente logi has as much armor as my Gallente Assault has total eHP. He also has a passive 5hp/s regeneration, making him that much more tanky. That point where he was hacking a CRU and was almost killed? If it was an assault suit he would be dead. Also, notice how once the dude spawned he could see him? That's because Logis have lower scan precision than assaults (lower = better), and putting just one point into passive scanning he can already see all assaults, while they can't see him.
Then there's the equipment. The scanner makes it so that unless he is hacking, no one can sneak on him. Then as soon as he takes damage he can just plop down a triage hive. Then resupply his ammo.
The logi is literally a one man army. No wonder almost everyone I see in PC runs logi. Along with the OPness of the Logi, the other thing that this video really shows me is how absolutely ridiculous the Scramber Rifle really is.Most enemies dropped is about 3-4 uncharged shots, and the charged shots seem to hit harder than sniper rifles!I honestly don't think that it's doing any less damage to armor, like it's supposed to.
If you don't think it does less damage to armor, then I implore you to use one. Pick one up, by all means. Then crap your pants the next time you see a Heavy suit or a Gallente. He's using the prototype Semi-Auto, if I identified it right. I'd expect it to hit as hard as the Tactical Assault Rifle, wouldn't you?
