Are they necessary? Should I use somethign else in their slot.
Yes they save clones yes they help save suits for my buddy.
But A) most my buddies are super $$$$ and B) Yesterday I noticed MOST of the death around me except 1 were clone terminations. So I carried an injector to save ONE guy? (tactically it was a good thing at that part of the match I rezzed him but still for ONE rez?)
Is it economical to have one? Why not carry somethign that may be used more often?
Especailly since most nades and forge gun spam clone terminate. |

The disadvantage is that you can only rep max. two at a time and in a limited space around you. In the end you have to choose that personally, i just like the repper more ^^

I stopped running a needle for the very same reasons. I run the same fit as before, but now with a scanner, and I had to swap a complex extender for an enhanced to fit it.
A needle saves your team what, 3 Clones per match?
Running a scanner will save you more than that. |

Use the hives, put them out and either get to a resupply or wait till you get shot and come back with a rep tool. Double dipping. When the hives get taken out, repeat. |

1st don't be a troll.
2nd - Just making sure that it isn't just me..There can be a super elite logi outh there who carries injectors and saves 50 clones per PC. If that is the case I'd like to hear how they do it :) If it isn't the case then there is another useless thing in the game CCP added. |

If you are trying to flip a district first attack with 120 clones use a needle cuz you can only lose 20 clones or you can't reup till the nxt day other than that I find it pointless

From a logistics point of view they are useless. 90% of the time your guys are grenaded or headshot in PC. You'll waste a slot on a 3-equip slot suit. And on 4-equip slot suit you'll lose your advantage.
uplinks, ammo, rep-hive, scanner <-- if you're not assigned to a reps uplinks, rep-hive/ammo, six kin repair tool, scanner <--- if you're assigned to reps

I hate to disagree with you, but if you're using a clone pack this does not require you to change your suit setup for a needle. It requires you to have better tactics in how you approach the battle. A needle isn't going to save you, but dying less altogether will save you.

Triage hives are the most effective equipments next to uplinks in PC. even when you're not there players can run through them if you scatter them correctly and get health. If you put them behind cover when the player is between firefights they can make use of the quick reps.
The trick is to get those down in key areas and also use your dual repair tool to make them even more effective.

If clones survived longer and were not instantly destroyed by headshots or explosives. And they made a system that could rez clones like they do in Battlefield...then yes, I would use them.

Funny. I had this conversation the other day. Decided to keep injector at last second and saved several clones. Eh. Sometimes worth it, sometimes not. It's a gamble. |

Yeah not every corp has 60m its all or nothing and if you think you can win by hiding I'd like to see that against a good pc corp if they are defending...some corps just started and would rather win on one clone pack sorry but I don't see your idea working very well when you have to hold 3 objectives to win maybe on a good forge roof map then maybe otherwise no

Our corporation definitely is not among the wealthy corps. And you can do it against the better PC corps, but it's all about tactics and how you approach the battle. We've had ample experience going in with clone packs trying to flip districts to get INTO PC. Now that we finally have a district, using a clone pack is miserable! But still, using nanite injectors is useless because people get grenaded and insta-killed. I promise you it can be done without those. :)
