During a regular conversation with an unnamed CPM member they accidentally let go that CCP will very soon be adding war elephants to the game. Beyond that little slip there wasn't much more info as they quickly went quiet... What was evident though is that it seems to be intended for Uprising 1.8 so very soon indeed. I personally can't wait to roam the battlefield on top of a raging armoured elephand with another 3 mercs on turrets. AWESOME! Actually I can confirm that, during the creation of some of the modular wallpapers I was making (in particular the Caldari Plasma Warrior) a CPM member leaked that there were, in fact, Ptereodactyls slated for release and they did mention first hand that they would do everything in their power to make sure CCP adheres to that goal.
