I have been playing for so long I have now hit the wall. I am bored. I have played every role there is. Logi, scout, assault, heavy, and even tanker. Is there anything out there that may help me get past this wall. Please do not suggest Commadont with plasma cannon for me that is worse than not playing at all. Also taking time off would not work for my skills would be effected. So any ideas that may bring fun back to the game. I love close battles but those are few and far between. So help me out if you can.

i would suggest maybe using smg scout and nova knives but tbh find some people to s*** around with. If you ever want to squad sometime just send me a mail in game.

Getting off of the forums and never checking them again should be step one. The forum sucks the fun and joy out of the game for most people because of it's toxicity.

I have thought about starting my own corp or being a Merc for hire. I am not a household name yet, so I am not as popular as some are. I am in the top 800 players but to me that's not good enough, when I reach the top 100 then I might be more recognizable.

I dont disagree but thats a big problem why forums are so bad because all the people that like the game or want to see it go further get off the forums because of the dicks who want to see it die.

why would you have to leave molon you could make a good name for yourself and your corp. No offense but damn where is the loyalty in this game lol. On a more serious note leader boards barely mean anything. idk but i still have fun with the game and ive been in since closed beta july 2012

Done it. I have done quite a few different build and there is very few combinations left. I went as far as skilling into proto nades and running a suicidal scout build. Just run in and throw grenades. Was fun for a while, but I grew tired of all the work with very little return on some matches.

No I do not want to leave Molon. I love my corp and I have been with them since day 1. I was with PRO before them, and these are the only 2 corps I have been with. I am loyal, just bored and looking for ideas.

Thanks to all who have replied. Its forum replies like these that make the forums better. I speed tank a scout now, so I am going to try SMG with RE for the next week. See if this lifts my spirits. Keep the ideas coming and thanks again to all who reply.

After playing sideshows of a game mode called PC, I actually really am happy that cod runs at a steady frame rate. It also has very smooth controls. Way smoother than dust.
I think it's kinda sad that after playing dust for so long, The BASICS of an fps make me feel relieved.

I had this problem and was able to temporarily fix it. You might've already done these. If you did...ignore it.
1. Suicide Bomber: Scout suit, Remote Explosives, Boom. Just today I caught an ass load of people in the explosion since they were beating the crap out of our side in an ambush and were camping a cloner. It was awesome. Never had that many kills in one explosion.
2. **** around with milita dropships. I like to divebomb enemy tanks. I used to anyway...haven't tried it in a looooong time.
3. ACTUALLY play a heavy with Nova Knives and Nova Knives only. Let your brain make weird connections.

Have you found that dealing with Dust's problems has sharpened your game elsewhere? After playing Dust exclusively for a while now (FPS wise), hopping over to Halo or Ghosts has shown a marked improvement in my gun game. Wondering if that's just me or if it applies to others. |

Actually it has. Tho it was more pronounced before when there was no aim assist.
I remember I played cod in chrome for a bit to take a break and my aim was near godly on cod. It was awesome.
Also since I play scout on dust, I actually took bunny hopping with me and use it very well on cod. Someone the other day called me a bunny hoping ****** and said to stop doing it lol

he said without quiting dust but i can see your trying to help and i am guilty of such crimes played ghosts quite abit for the last week and i would have to agree with the basics but dust gives me something cod will never brotherhood .
