Moving it to PC would up its chances, but at this point in time the damage is done. Dust 514 is already widely known as a failure. So as of now the priority of CCP is the same as any dying F2P game: Suck up as much money as they can no matter the consequences before they go bust.

We've pledged to no longer stomp teams into oblivion because they are noobs. We've thought about ways of getting our friends to play it (the recruitment rewards... but we all know what players are doing to get those Recruitment BPOs) etc... I myself have turned many people onto this game, and they all gave up on it. Maybe they'd come back in the future, but I doubt it. People aren't always stupid. If DUST was a decent game, people would be playing it. Plain and simple. But new players aren't sticking to it, and old players are jumping off the ship. There is no saving DUST. Not now, or ever. Potential and wishful thinking can only ride so long. CCP has not and cannot deliver the goods with DUST 514, and aren't anywhere near to doing do. Sometimes projects fail. Sometimes games are just flops. DUST 514 is one of those failures. Not everything can work all the time, if that was the case, we'd still have games like Guitar Hero, Homefront, MAG, Driver, Atari Jaguar, Sega Dreamcast, Duke Nukem Forever, etc. etc. etc. Rule of thumb in Video Games (usually) is that first attempts are often always failures, and someone else will come along and learn from your mistakes and turn around and make the exact same thing later on and be a success (Sega Dreamcast vs. PS2 or Atari Jaguar vs Nintendo64) A few years from now we'll be playing a game and we'll harp back to DUST 514 and say "this game is the exact same thing, just a different universe, not the New Eden..."
