Title is self-explanatory.
I think it would be beneficial to the community if we had a list of people who clearly want DUST 514 to be another COD clone.
This way, we would know who not to take seriously.

Cod needs to be Cod, Dust needs to be Dust, BF4 needs to be BF4, Killzone needs to be Killzone, etc. No reason why folks should not be able to enjoy all, but each game needs its own identity. |

I'm not a fan cod. Proven soo by not playing the damn thing since COD 4. But this thread could easily turn into
"get the FPS players out of this FPS GAME!"
cause who would know better how to make a awesome fps game then the players of DOTA. |

They can make it any game they want I will adapt.
the game is liquid it was mario kart/crazy taxi last month, COD today, world of tanks next month, WOW the next.
adapt or quit that's the options. |

I did play a single round of some dumb zombie **** (W@W, I think?) but I would've been okay with never having done that.

If "COD Scrub" means:
1) Role balance matters.
2) Weapon balance matters.
3) Tactics and Gungame matter.
Then please count me among the COD Scrubs.
Success in CoD comes down to having the right weapon at the right time.
Along with sufficient skill and situational awareness to accomplish one's goal.
Success in Dust can be reduced to running a MedFrame with an AR or ScR.
When running the "chosen" fit, very little (if any) skill or situational awareness is required.
I don't consider myself to be a CoD fanboy, but after playing LOTS of Dust, I've come to appreciate the effort CoD titles take toward ensuring weapon and build balance. Dust has potential to become a great shooter. Severe disparity in weapon and role balance is holding Dust back from realizing its true potential. |

I think people are misunderstanding my definition of a "COD Scrub"
A COD Scrub is someone who thinks this game should be exactly like COD, and want the game balanced around the Assault class carrying Assault Rifles.

The ggme play is worse. I like being able to run for more than two seconds in DUST. What was better in Call of Duty, however, is being able to jump over objects. |

well for one, you certainly sound like a COD scrub.
you hate vehicles and want swarms to take out MCCs, you support only the medium suit, AR, swarms, nades, and massdrivers.
