Yeah it was an engaging story and too this date only XCOM, Valkyria Chronicles, and Tales of Symphonia have successfully made me care about the characters in the games. My Squad 7 was incredible. It was beautiful. When Isara died it was heartbreaking, tears in eyes at the funeral listening to Rosie's song and her realisation that Darcsen's weren't so bad, seeing what happened at Naggiar, then at Ghirlandiao. Fighting through Fouzen was intense, fighting the massive tank out in Barious, and taking down Jaeger in Kloden..... Such excitement. That Boss Fight stopped me from playing the game for a few months. Jaeger was a tough fighter, sad about what happened to his country.
