I am saddened by the fact that I am "fortunately" dead. Please tell me I died as a Support which is what I actually am in the field?
((I play full Logi))

Niina panick, shot Leithe, my psionic in the back, killed him. Kador was mind controlled by an ethereal and shot Niina, wounded her, and killed Callie Vines. He was subsequently killed by a Muton Elite, after being wounded heavily by the Sectopod. Niina escaped the mission seeing it through....but was killed during the next mission. Aisha Neumann.....( 1 Million ISK if you get the character reference) survived as well and tried to revive Niina but was too late.... The council subsequently lost faith in the XCOM project. All hail our new Alien overlords! ((Star ocean? I'm considering getting XCOM, but I've not got that much time to play it atm. I loved Phoenix Rising, which I think is similar, but I guess it just depends on how much time I end up with and how good it seems.)) Interesting. Do you often run such mad virtual scenarios? Nope not Star Ocean Hint: PS3 game. I love top down strategy games, Blood Bowl, Fallout Tactics. XCOM, Slay, etc. I know that name. I think it was in a strategy game too... By any chance was one of the main characters of the game named Welkin Gunther?

The hidden gem of the PS3. 1 Mill ISK to you!
Playing through that game made you want to protect Aisha since she was only 13 and in the middle of the 2nd Europan War.
Just so you know, this is probably going to get moved to the Locker Room soon.
I had a love for Snipers in that game, so Marina Wulfstan and Catherine O'Hara were my girls and then there was Jane Turner.
I only played the first one by the way so I assume you're talking about that one.

That game had, what was to me, one of the best most engaging stories I've ever had the pleasure of playing in a video game. You cared about the characters and their stories. (Poor Isara...) You even start to care about the antagonists and there was so much backstory to read. 10/10 Always for that game.

Yeah it was an engaging story and too this date only XCOM, Valkyria Chronicles, and Tales of Symphonia have successfully made me care about the characters in the games. My Squad 7 was incredible. It was beautiful. When Isara died it was heartbreaking, tears in eyes at the funeral listening to Rosie's song and her realisation that Darcsen's weren't so bad, seeing what happened at Naggiar, then at Ghirlandiao. Fighting through Fouzen was intense, fighting the massive tank out in Barious, and taking down Jaeger in Kloden..... Such excitement. Jaeger's tank was so OP in his final fight for the Bridge. That Boss Fight stopped me from playing the game for a few months.

That Boss Fight stopped me from playing the game for a few months. Jaeger was a tough fighter, sad about what happened to his country. One has to wonder what happened to him after he walked away and the war ended. So many questions. If they made what happened to him as it's own story I would definitely play it and I'm sure a lot of other people would too.
