I firmly believe that the anti-RESPEC crowd is largely made up of folks that play Eve. I think it's important to bring that up because I think the long term success of this game will depend on CCP adopting ideals more familiar with FPS and console players.

But, but surely you want to run away from the Calogi as soon as possible because of the nerf.
Seriously though, I have been running the calogi with two regulators instead of plates lately. Adjusted my play style away from brawler while wearing it and I've had success. If you are running with a good squad it can still be nasty running only shields.

I see this a lot and I can only find where CCP said no more RESETS. Also we should hope that CCP adjusts to the needs of the changing video game market. They should do their thing, but there's no way a company can be successful being stubborn if an opportunity presents itself.

Nerf CalLogi into the ground. Oh, wait.... Seriously, CalLogi is great for long distance, let me out of those mid-close range AR's and into my mid-long range RR's. I have Prof2 and some other things. I can get the EXACT SAME LEVEL with the points from Vehicles. Maybe I should run Commando with Proto AR's and Proto RR's, and a nano....
Commando is a tower campers dream. You with a sniper rifle and a swarm launcher and a Forge gunner buddy.
I'd hate you, but that's what one of the top corps in PC has used with great success.

With a simple disclaimer that said upcoming respec is coming because due to the late introduction of racial weapons and suits I think they can avoid that rather easily.
And I don't see a lot of people crying in here. I for one don't need a respect, but it feels like the logical thing to do given the circumstances.
I'm also ready for more capable mercs on the battlefield. Perhaps there will only be 2 or 3 0-10s on the bottom of the leaderboard instead of 6 with streamlined training of skills.
