I love how everyone acts like they've been play testing 1.7 for weeks and know it inside and out.
So lets say they end up releasing all the racial suits in 1.8. Then what? Moar respects? ! Yes ,so i can change into Amarr Scout . the thing you realize is people hate to grind. and its NOT our fault they gave a respec WITHOUT having all racial variants released. I already worked for a Proto scout, why do i have to grind all over again to get the one i ACTUALLY wanted?
Yes, we should get ANOTHER respec...well you asked....
Then why do you need a respec now before the Amarr scout (p.s., totally want it too) even comes out? WTF do you need a respec twice in a months time? How does that even make sense? Because as it is CCP changed/nerefd so much taht my Skill book which i previously planned for is useless. Im a 20 mill character with not a single 100% useful suit. They all lack a lot of stuff and soon, even more of my skill set is going to be useful.
Im not saying CCP MUST give us a respec , im saying they should for costumer satisfaction sake.
If i dont get a respec i dont have a reason to keep playing since every single thing im using escept my ADV SCR will be broken and useless.
So i wont play, simple enough.
Im not the one needing the respec, more like CCP actually....Im just one of many...
Eeek! Lay of the bold please your readers will appreciate you more for it.
It seems like your issue is that you kept switching every time something was nerfed. If you had just stuck with one specialization, regardless of what nerfs were being layed down you would be doing okay. The fully proto scouts do fine. Heavies who are highly skilled are extremely useful, the same can be said for either of the med. suits. Remember specialize or die. You shouldn't start diversifying until after 20 mil sp. when your primary is fully skilled.
Edit: I'd also like to point out that your threat of taking a break isn't a substantial one. None of us really cares what you do. Its harsh, but true.

Tek Hound wrote:I wonder what all these anti-respec people's fits are and how much sp they have. Pretty sure they won't say.
I, Mobius Kaethis, run with a Gallente assault fit, have 21 mill sp, and am anti-repsec.
Funny. I think we would all gladly say what our sp numbers and fits are.
Edit: Would you like more detail about my fittings? I don't mind sharing its not a state secret or anything. How about a picture of my skill tree?
Us wanting not wanting respecs actually has nothing to do with how we spent our skill points or what fits we run and is much more about preventing FOTM insanity and preserving the "choices matter" philosophy of the game.

Giving people a respec now will just make them cry more constantly for respecs. By denying the current/ongoing respec calls CCP is setting the bar for their behavior and creating an understood norm of no repsecs.
