is ccp really this incompetent?
Here is a brief history of Dust...
In the begining, there was little sp. Most spent it on ground fits but a small dedicated handful invested fully into tanks.
Now tanks were balanced against good team play and specd AV. But nobody was speced av and nobody would.
Instead they QQd till tanks were nerfed and av buffed to where militia amd standard now leveled against a max tank.
But then came a dark age. Players gained more sp than they knew what to do with and dumped it into proto swarms and forges.
At this point tanks were paper and dropships were 1 ply wet toilet paper with forge **** all over em.
Ccp: "I don't get it...".
Ccp decides an entire rework of vehicles is the only way to repair balance in this game.
Seems totaly unnecessary but okay lets see.
And then 1.7 came. And ccp left the forges unchanged. They were the problem in the first place. Rather than using a scalpel for surgery ccp bludgeoned Dust with a 4 months coding Patch.
YET after all of this they left the forge. 1.7 changes nothing of consequence.
And what it may change will be impossible to test. How can you test new dropships if they can't even fly?
1.7... forges rule the map, supply depots are flypaper for dropships. Small blasters still broken. Small rails still useless. Ccp gives huge turret bonus to only one ship, for the only turret type that works onfront a dropship. Pythons get 2x dps from missile s.
but large rails will gib them before a hardener can activate. Ds side turret aim resetting but still not fixed after 6 months.
What was the point of 1.7? " It was suposed to bring balance to the AV, not stationary targets!"
