Did you know that I can be prosecuted if I stole virtual items from another player in game? Its actually a large reason the game Runescape took out the Wild section of the game.
CCP has the right to alter or discontinue anything they manufacture. They do not have a right to force recall on any property you have purchased(because virtual items are considered property by law) without just compensation. Sony has to agree to the altered change of the property and compensate accordingly.
Justin Beiber can't make you give back a song you paid for on iTunes of his. You have purchased it and it is yours. BPOs are the same exact thing. |

itunes actually stole a bunch of free songs from me once. Paid me 25 cents (the result of the lawsuit) for my losses.

ther are ALOT of things wrong with your post... and since you probably wont take my word for it ill adress the issues.
First, if you can be prosecuted for stolen items, you may want to tell that to everyone whos been scammed in EVE online, hundreds of thousands of dollers worth of in game items are stolen from players there DAILY.
not to meantion the same is true in EVERY MMO based game.
also laws are different in every country, and so when you play a game generally they have it set up so that legal issues involving the game are resolved using the games particular country of operation, wich isnt nessesarily your own. meaning the laws that regulate specific purches or exhanges with that game are governed under different laws then your own, and you have to agree to this in order to play the game.
CCP has the right to alter their product, DUST514 was altered to remove specific BPOs.
the property you purchased was AUR, you did not purchas BPOs, you relenquished ownership of your purchased property in order to obtain an in game item, wich while that sounds similar, leagally it isnt.
iTunes in fact CAN discontinue a particular offering and refund your money back to itunes cash if they wish to no longer host that particular file. |

This is what I was thinking.
They can't take away my LAV BPO because I bought it in a pack for real money. However in that pack was AUR which I used to buy other BPOs which can be refunded.
That made sense to be since I first spent money in this game. I also agreed to the fact that items I buy can be changed if they so choose to do that, which made me cautious about things.
For instance, I always buy aurum items in small amounts as I know that my aurum is less likely to change. The people who have spent tons of aurum on thousands of items are fools for not being more careful.

they CAN take away the LAV BPO becuase it was a bonus item included in the pack of AUR you purchased.
you boughthe AUR, and they threw in the LAV for free. you did not technically buy the LAV. |

Do you have proof, because all of the screen clippings and advertisements i have purchased do not state that they are "bonus" items.

Hey look at that, a full description without the words bonus or anything. Actually it appears as though the gear is just as important to the pack as the aurum and the boosters.
Actually I have the Dust 514 slip that came with my PS3 also (giving me a guristas LAV BPO.) Also once again, not saying one thing that you are claiming.....
Linky to collectors edition
Hey llook at that, also not listed as bonus items, oh and what is this???

Hey I have it in writing that the collectors edition that I purchased comes with PERMANENT GEAR.

it then goes on the clerify that permanant means "requiring no restocking or replacement."
im not really interested in re-spoonfeeding you information from **** you clicked "I agree" on in order to begin using your PS3 and playing dust.

Do you understand English?
I ask this because what you wrote is directly supportive of what I wrote. This gear, which had no disclaimers or stipulations on the page or in any agreement within, is permanent. This permanent gear will never require me to restock or replace it because it is permanent, i.e. it is mine forever. This is what was advertised with no strings attached.
Of course if English is your second language I apologize for the misunderstanding.
If however English is your first language.... keep going to school kid.
EDIT: Oh and of course let me reiterate... EULAs are more or less useless. They do not stand up in the court of law. They are not binding legal contracts, they do not carry sufficient weight to override consumer rights...
Actually thats why they get thrown out, EULAs can not make you give up your rights.

nowhere does that say anything about being yours forever. and NOWHERE will you find that, because elsewhere in the game agreement you signed it has other rules and amendments dedicated to the dealings of "your" new virtual goods
this is a matter of you ASSUMING things rather then READING things
this thread isnt a debate about the contents of the agreements you signed, its a message to actually GO ******* READ THEM |

well its official, you diddnt read all that crap about the laws concerning consumer goods either.
its not enough that you know they exsist, you actually have to read and understand those as well before you can apply them all willy nilly to a situation.
you personally have no ******* clue what your local consumer laws are, nore do you even know what countrys consumer laws CCP and SONY have to abide by.
how do i know this? becuase you diddnt manage to read a contract.
your again ASSUMING that what you want to be true is true.
copy and paste here the EXACT wording in the laws you are refering to to back up your claim |

Hmm here things get complicated. CCP advertised the packs with ALL content so you technically bought all contents that were advertised. At least to my understandings...
