No, but here is my personal theory,
God is the architect of the Universe. God made the laws of science, laws that everything must follow. I do not believe God is a miester, directing all of existence. Rather, God changes courses in time when God feels the need. Otherwise, we are here to do as we please, free will. Though, we will be judged in our eternal life, the after life. When the soul is no longer held to the visible dimension we reside in.

I lost all faith that there was ever a God when I died at Caldari Prime and further lived to see the war continue.

Though to be fair, it does keep there from being to many inclinations, especially in the manufacturing field. Overall this external pressure helps oust low tier Gallante businesses that help to capitalize at more than a safe guarded local level. This actions although superficially negative, in actuality helps better place resources to more constructive ends in the luxury pool. So I would argue the effect is beneficial to the Federation, at least at the bare bones level. You digging what I'm dishin' down, aye broski? Madness is the emergency exit.
