Well, i dont really like running STD gear that much, i like ADV.
I only have BPO for collection and to create Cool BPO fittings IF SOMEDAY i become poor.
The People that dont have BPO,well, too bad.... |

Starter fits with good passives. Having a BPO AR would help though since I only have 48 shots on my militia one :/ |

I look at BPOs kind of like this....... A long time ago people used to be able to construct capitol ships in high security space. But one of the patches made it so that you 1.) cant build them in high sec space, and 2.) you cant warp into high sec space with capitol ships anymore.
HOWEVER, they didn't remove the capitol ships that were already in high sec. This means theres a finite amount of those ships in highsec, and there incredibly rare to see (in that area of space).
Because they removed BPO's as a purchasable item, there is a finite supply of them. Whenever the player market comes out, there will be a finite amount of them for sale, and there will never be more of them then whats available. Idk if CCP is going to keep the BPO's the same, but if they do, then I could imagine them being worth TONS of isk in the future (simply because of rarity).

I think CCP just doesn't want to update them.
Right now there doesn't seem to be a function to turn off a blueprint (like there is in eve. My Python Mine BPO in eve is a testament to that.)
Because if there was my yellow pills would not be equippable but I still can do it (despite how useless it is)
