1. I agree with this, though grenades are seldom a problem for me.
2. Quick scoping is an unrealistic way to use a sniper rifle, that derives around a game glitch that should not exist. All weapons/vehicles need to be viable on every map. From there, you can make maps more specialized to fit one playing style over others. As is, most of the new maps are extremely infantry based, and are unrealistic for snipers and tanks to run in. You should never make maps that make anything that you skill into not hardly usable on the play field. If sp was easy to get and everyone could have vehicles, top suits, close and ranged weapons like other games (cod and battlefield) than you could do as op states.
When I look down my scope, all I see are dead people.

The whole debate is about the sniper being on the battlefield rather than in the red line. Quickscoping is just an example I used that some numnut picked up and tagged along on it. I agree red line sniping needs to go. Just remove the red zone from any known sniper perch and the problem is solved. Very few maps is the red line really viable and those that camp in it have poor kdr anyways. Successful snipers are on the map hiding in plain sight and actually affect the match. Red line campers get a couple of stragglers at best, and are more annoying than helpful. Unless they are a thale user that is.
