In KZSF you get only 1 grenade. I know people with crappy gun game like Kujo, Andy and Zatara would hate this but its a good thing.
Completely agree with you here. Grenades are slightly ridiculous right now and I abhor dying to one, or 4 or 5 all lying on the ground.
Sentient Archon wrote: 2. Focused maps i.e. either make a map/game mode infantry only or make it Vehicle/AV specific
Right now maps are a mix up of both infantry and vehicle. This promotes cheesy gameplay rather than actual skill. Having infantry only maps would allow the infantry folks to run and gun and be merry whilst having Vehicle specific maps/game modes would allow AV and Vehicles to duke it out. In the infantry maps on KZSF the snipers are actualy up close an personal sniping you in the face and not in the red zone. Quickscoping FTW!
This would be an excellent idea assuming we could choose our map and our battle, which I still believe should be the case. I want to chose a star system on the star map and select who I'm fighting for and where I'm fighting. That way territory has meaning. That way I can be a mercenary that chooses my fate. Assuming we could choose our maps, choose our battles, then hell yeah, I support this idea of map types.
Sentient Archon wrote: 3. No supply depots
Supply depots are home point promotes camping. Removing them would help focus more on Logi roles and bring out the snipers into the open.
4. Logi specific equipment
Logi's should be the only one carrying nanohives, nanite injectors, droplinks and reppers. This will make people play this role more.
I had to put these two together as they are closely related. To be honest I wouldn't mind seeing supply depots removed from the game, they are an invaluable point on the map. But, assuming that they won't be removed I'd like to at least see them repositioned. I believe they need to be at the center of the map where the engagement should take place. In dominations they are sometimes placed closer to one side than another which skews the battle in favor of the team they are closest to. They should be the center of combat, much like a king of the hill scenario.
Also, to address your equipment specific idea, this could be cool, but it should be consistent. If you want these items to only be on logistics players then those suits should have bonuses for them to make them more effective, but still give the opportunity for other suits to wear them. Just as scouts should get a pg/cpu bonus for active scanners so they are running those, and assault characters should get a bonus to pg/cpu for remote explosives/proximity mines on their equipment slots. Then you'll start seeing people doing their jobs.
Sentient Archon wrote: 5. Logi specific weapons
Since the Logi will be doing a lot support people, their weapons should be limited to sidearms only.
This is a terrible idea. In fact you lose credibility for even considering it. You already remove prolonged engagements from logistics players by removing their sidearm as it is right now. So a good player... no, a really effin good player can only go against 2-3 players before needing to reload. Where as an assault or heavy or scout can go up against many more before needing to reload as they have the sidearm to supplement them. Plus the moment you make one class of suits completely defenseless they'll simply not be used no matter how good the bonuses are as one cannot apply support when one is dead.

Do I really need to explain why?
7. Automatic shotguns
High damage with low range. Great for CQC.
8. Option to be revived
Currently in Dust any noob can revive you without looking for enemies around. It would be nice to have an option to accept revives.
Don't really care to see drones in this. I would like to see PvE against drones however. I assume this is what you are referring to here.
Automatic shotguns would quite literally be OP, though I say bring it, we're already dealing with a 500dps ScR and 450 dps AR, why not kill me instantly up close as well.
Option to be revived is seriously needed and has been needed since day one.
