There's just that little moment of surprise during a game when I'm like "oh, that's different" on a map I more or less no. Keeps things fresh. Ideally yes, I'd want to play every match on a brand new map, but that would take way too much dev time. As it is, I prefer the current system to the static map system of every other FPS on the market.
there is nothing fresh. basically you say it like the map is randomized. no its just recycled using same building and putting them in different spots. basically 3 version of one map. and then 4 versions of those 3 maps because of weather.... then thats it. nothing fresh nothing new. still the same just recycled. these maps are static just the planets name change don't make the map any different all the time. |

Mixing and matching these elements to create maps leads to more combinations than just having 1 building only on just one particular terrain, etc. um no there isn't? terrain is same placement. same hills same craters and same mountains same same turret placement same redline... different? no. new? no. change? little.different building placement? not at all different. same spot different building... variety of spots for change? none but where the buildings are. huge difference? no. noticeable? barely. the way they code it is they set actual spots. its not randomized. every map is a static map....all they did was recycled models...like a game changing a color of a monster because its the next level without changing the look..in this case... its the same spot same building same change....from what? 2 models of buildings? so much variety. yes... only 2. because i've notice only certain maps change the buildings from 2 models of city/camp. really no arguement here... im sure you all notice. telling how it is. this is a unreal engine not a fancy randomized automatic game engine where it randomizes things for you. they made it, recycled it, added weather. done. kudos for trying CCP. |

example... 3 different city type map... cycles between those 3. now lets call the other ones camp... lets see there only 5 types... but certain terrain only cycle between 2 of the city maps... and 3 of the camps. but heres the things all the camps will be the same.
now for the 3 objective wide ass open map its 3 different ones. always. the one with the stupid bumpoop wide open space in the middle. and A is always A and never changes.
as i was saying... certain objectives/camps/towns are set to stay the same no matter what map it changes to... the ones that cycle are pretty much 2-3 spots. counting that 2 of the 3 will be the same as each other and the 1 is the city and the rest stays the same no matter what weather or day or night map it changes to. unique....very...lol.
