My current skills are:
Dropsuit Command lvl 1
-Minmatar Med DS lvl 3
Dropsuit Upgrade lvl 1
Weaponry lvl 3
-Light W. O. lvl 1
--Assault Rifle Op lvl 5
---Assault Ammo lvl 1
---Assault Relod lvl 1
---Assault SharpShooter lvl 1
My current "fit" consist of:
Minmatar med frame M/1
2 Militia Shield Extender
Militia light damage Mod
Duvalle Assault Rifle
Militia Locus Grenade
& 2 militia armor plates.
I don't want to be supp, i want to use the assault weapons while being more tanky, so i thought of staking the Armor plates and shield extenders.
Please help, i know logi has more space of CPU&PG.

If you actually want to do logistics work, this is the best dropsuit for you. Minmatar logi is the most versatile (but not best for slaying).
4/4/4 slot layout is very good.
If you want to do assaulting, you should go for gallente (or caldari) logi.
KDR > ALL

If you mostly play Skirmish/Domination, Minmatar is the way to go. Gotta love that hacking bonus.
On the other hand, if you play solely Ambush, you will be losing the Minmatar bonus completely.
Rude people can go fuck themselves.

Yes I would have to say mimitar is probably the most useful. The 4/4/4 makes things easier to fit and also the hacking bonus is a major plus too.
The only downfall is you don't have a sidearm. |

First I would upgrade your shield extenders and energizers (I know some say the 2-4% loss is too much but it charges 25% faster). Then your plates and reppers, get at least plates to Adv; then go for the suit. Personally I'd shield tank the **** out of this to maximize your speed bonus, easier at higher levels though.

If you like hacking stuff back in seconds go for it lol, will take some time to invest all the needed points for that but I felt its worth it. Kinda funny when you hack something back in front of the enemy while playing tag with them.

If you were a brick tanked caldari logi you would kill even more.

I think he means that the bonus for the assault isn't worth the sp unless you are a dedicated sidearm user (which the op isn't) and you should use the basic frame instead because it's less so for the 'same' suit

You don't like the submachine gun? The M209 is my best friend and I think you just hurt its feelings. I use the assault variant like a light assault rifle and when an AR user gets close it just shreds them. Even my barely tanked Minmatar scout can kill a heavy with one and live to run away.
Even if you don't want to go support the Minmatar Logistics is a wonderfully flexible suit. It was my first specialized suit I took to prototype.
