It's that CCP is so (lazy/ignorant/slow/whatever/can't really think of a word) to realize the heavy needs a heavy weapon that out DPSs the AR at medium range. The HMG, prof 4 with 2 complex damage mods can't do it even full spun up and crouched.

I'd honestly exchange out the sentinel skill even if I only got 3/4ths of my SP from it back. Now, I understand it was my choice to put the points into it, but honestly with how much has changed with everything regarding balancing, they should give out partials to people who have specialized in heavy suits and scouts considering how much TTK has changed and how useless the HMG (the only full-on anti infantry weapon they have).

I don't even have an HMG fit anymore and my forge fit just uses the advanced basic frame. That's 2.4 million SP sitting on what is arguable the worst suit in the game.

I run with standard BPO and militia most of the time. Even if I had spent SP for standard instead of using BPOs it would only take about 3 weeks worth of SP (Basic suits?) and I've gotten to played every infantry role.
