i dont understand the fact that you always need to run a squad for active scanners to be useful. please allow me to get active scanner points everytime a blueberry gets a kill. maybe 15 points for a squad member getting the kill and maybe 10 points if a blueberry gets a kill. or somthing like that. scanners are currently useless to those who run solo.

I use a scanner solo
I hate surprises 
Seriously it is very useful knowing when you can round a corner and get the drop on a bunch of reds and rack up some points. Not to mention being able to run knowing a squad of hurt is coming over the next hill

You only get rewarded if your scan helped get that kill and when you run solo nobody but you can see the results of the scan, so how do you propose to "fx it"? |

No one else in your team will be able to see the the results of your scan when you are solo anyways. Only when you're in a squad at all can someone else see the results and even then only your squad can see the results and take advantage of the kill to give you points.
Besides, CCP did this on purpose so as to encourage squad-based play. If you're not into squad-based play, then the only use that a scanner has is to just inform yourself of the enemy's position.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.

Extremely bad idea, if everyone in a sad or not in sad was running scanners the WP generation would have to be halved or more to stop the spamming that would occur. Join a sad if you want more points from scanning. |

Bad idea. Scanners are already OP. Allowing scans to show for the whole team will only make this worse.
Play in a squad if you want more WP.
If you don't want to play in a squad enjoy the fact you can see 99% of the enemies in your area.

He is rewarded for it but is to ignorant to understand WP isn't everything in a match.
He could, by himself, scan a guy going for a point and kill him. Saving his MCC that much armor and potentially winning the match.

Make scanners show to everyone on your team. Only give wp if you or your squad gets the kill. |

Now you understand the concept of team . I don't care for those ME types and I see SO MANY threads like this with the bulk of those responding agreeing . This is a fresh breath and surprise , also should be more along the lines of the collective , to inform , correct and CRUSH ignorance and promote TEAM UNITY .
Thank you to those of you who inform and correct . That takes bravery and guts .
