Aside from the warbarge talked about in EVE Vegas, how would you guys link the two games together more? Like let's talk a year from now. I personally would like to see a map of the battlefield come to EVE in the near future. |

1 pilot vs 32 mercs, to me that would be an exciting connection. well considering the smallest combatable eve ship is roughly half the size of the MCC, i dont think it would be much competition... anyhoo, we all do want to have more connection between eve and dust, no doubt. I have been asking for a more solid connection for a while now. Not direct confrontation. Just a mode where an EVE pilot can do battle against a whole team of ground troops through several options when connected to a district. Orbital Strikes, drone deployment, objective scrambling, etc. Ground troops fight on the ground against these obstacles controlled by the pilot to get a hold of the Skyfire to shoot back. Primary objective not to destroy the ship, but possible. Eve pilots have to worry about x number of hostile eve pilots, and for what we seen x = 1 to 2000+ and comparatively, imagine yourself being a scout, hacking a control point middle of nowhere with no cover, and all of a sudden a piloted mcc drops out of orbit and begins to target you with its XL guns. Nearest friendly CRU is 4 systems away.
That's one reason why the connection sucks, lowsec primarily belongs to pirates, EVEN if you wanted to provide orbital support it's hardly worth it, DUST mercs need the ability to shoot out in space and hurt EVE players. |

I look at Covert Interventions killboard enough to know that pirates are always an issue in Molden Heath. http://evemaps.dotlan.net/alliance/Covert_Intervention/kills
Even though Covert Intervention is more organized than most DUST/EVE Alliances in the game (Probably the only one with a capable EVE side), and they have the help of very strong allies like ROC. Pirates are still a problem, even for them. http://seventwo.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=20467401
So please don't act like Covert Intervention doesn't lose ships in Molden Heath, because they do. I respect them, but to say that piracy isn't an obstacle to a smaller corp who wants to get involved in MH is a lie especially when you have not only the obstacles (pirates) but the rivals (your alliance) and your allies (ROC).
DUST players need a way to even the odds and help the battle in EVE like EVE players can help the battle in DUST.
Otherwise they are left with one option. Join Covert Intervention. or form a coalition against them, neither of which are good ideas because most dust corps "EVE side" consist of miners who aren't anywhere near molden heath and have never done orbital support. |

Yeah for the most part, Hrober is a dead system, that's where I see John Vanus all the time, the systems before hrober however not so much. I wasn't aware Covert Intervention owned a district, I thought you guys just did FW, with EVE players who hang out in Molden Heath |
