this fit is for hitting them in the back and requires decent intel on tank movements
It also requires the opponent to not even attempt to turn around, and for no AV to even look at you while you are performing your flank maneuver.
If your fit requires the stars to align so that you don't get ripped apart, it is a bad fit.
This fit is so bad, it can be stomped out by a well fit Soma.

I really hope more people start running the damage mod blaster fit on a maddy before 1.7. I have no problems bringing out the CPC and watching them try to figure out how a rail beat them at close range.
Not that it really matters, 120 poly and a damage mod doesn't hold up in PC vs 180 nano and the heavy efficient. Too much AV flying around, so unless you plan on throwing the tank out with your enemy, you won't get too far.
If you want to run a damage mod with a blaster, learn to build a Hybrid Vayu.

my fit does have 180mm nano plates. and the damage mods are able to make up for the slight reduction in resist. I can go up against tank by themselves. but you bring swarms into the mix and (usually in PC the enemy does and we dont.) Ill get blown up. it doesn't matter if you have the most tanked tank in the game. I use the nitro to circumvent the chance of swarms or forges hitting their mark. If you can out maneuver an enemy tank you can effectively use your tactics and or intel to win vs just having a good fit.
Going from 46% to 10% resist is not what I would call a slight reduction.
Using that fit vs MHPD, how many times did you go positive? Because it wasn't many. And it would have been much worse for you without the forges protecting you from on high.
How does that tank fare versus an XT accelerated Maddy? Does it even survive a second volley if the first volley hits clean before you activate your reps?
Given that both you and York run maddys, it makes sense for your opponent to run a missile boat to counter it, and your fit just gives them an easy kill.
