The death of Dust 514 player counts will not be due to a single game but more likely due to unresponsiveness on the part of CCP and a thousand other games that slowly pull away the Dust 514 playerbase.
I.e. hey CCP what about new maps, new weapons, new suits, new vehicles, new vehicle turrets?
CCP meh!! more important things like makeing female clone chest cones smaller and nefing the sexy female clone walk. |

Once the RR is out the LR will no longer have any justification on the Battlefield other than fun (just like scouts now). |

the point of the laser in 1.7 is that you and your squadmates can all form a disco laser squad, play some techno and shoot lasers into the sky while at the same time recording the whole thing. it will make for a pretty light show
