I would like to toss my friends name in the hat. His toons name is Vola Crunch from the corp rejected clones. I recruited him into dust right during the heyday of the free LAV/murder taxi epidemic. This lead him to develop a severe hatred of vehicles of all kinds but mostly LAVs. He skilled into proto swarms before he did any thing else. |

all you have to do is get to high ground drop your hives and spam that win button .... if you really think swarms take skill then you sir are a complete and utter ********....
I don't spam AV on high grounds such as towers and hills unless the tank is redlining on a hill.
Getting killed by something doesn't make it easy mode.
Currently, you have to have the best tank to survive the best AV. And that's how it should be
Best Tank = Best AV
Best AV > Bad Tank
Best Tank > Bad AV
That's how it is, and that's how it should be.
Infantry share the same problem. Only the best suits and weapons can survive.

I was originally face palming at this thread..... now im face fisting.....
best tank =- STD hull, ADV mods, PROturrets.
best AV= PRO suit PRO mods , PRO weapons, PRO equipment
do you see a problem here ????
if you have ever tanked in PC or synked up aginst an organised team then you will know how op AV is and actually has been since chrome tbh ( I used to solo sagies and suyrias back in chrome with my DCMA , and if my tanks met proto av then they were allways ******)

I nominate myself. This one time I was able to get a lock and fire the missiles. NOT one missile hit anything other than the tank. It was a perfect shot.
Remove time in battle from ISK payout formula and provide a bonus to winning team... Watch battles become fun again.

Oh yes please do.
Tell me about how Swarms are so easy in comparison to a weapon with a 1 second charge time, not existent travel time, and the ability to kill infantry as well.
Tell me how using a turret and having to drive around in a vehicle while turning modules on and off require godlike amounts of skill.
Tell me about how someone can stand still and survive OBs yet can't take. A hit from PRO AV.
Tell me how it's perfectly balanced and a good idea to make Tanks the best and only counter to Tanks.

Forge guns have 1-2 second charge time, travel time less than half a second, and the ability to kill infantry.
And aiming with them is not hard either.
