Right... I'm a sniper as you probably guess and run a lot of other fits.....
The shape of the MCC is different when you get up there, its as if there is a bubble around it...you sort of float meter or so above it.... if a sniper is sitting on what he believes is the MCC and take aim over the edge he wont be able to hit anything because he would still be picking up the MCC in his sites (or the bubble around the MCC). It just like sitting over the peak of a hill but your able to see through it...... you cant shoot him and he cant shoot you.
You have to crawl out over the edge of the MCC to be able to shoot...that's why some snipers appear to be floating in the air up there. Which makes us bloody easy targets...
What they need to is fix the shape of the MCC so we can shoot of it and you guys can shoot back!!
Lets face it, the problem is not people sitting on the MCC it's just because a lot of people are just to STUPID to look up and call for sniper assistance
If I'm running running around with my AR and get tagged a couple of times by the same sniper in strange places I look around try to find them change suit and shoot them......Job done

happened to me couple of hours ago, guy sitting up in the hills not behind it or just over it but on top....... 8 shoots nothing...... and yes I did hit him and I tried moving... then blam im dead

You get some one to check....Sniper probably..... and you can see us up there....

School boy error not looking on top of the MCC for snipers ..... No that's not the whole issue, head glitching was a known bug exploited in beta and is now back, it has nothing to do with MCC scrub snipers or people who don't look up there.
Went of on one SORRY!.....just hate it when some people say don't do that (MCC SITTING) if they can shoot one way we can shoot back.... in theory...well you should

You get someone to check....Sniper probably..... and you can see us up there if you look carefully.... Still a scumbag tactic that is in play only because ccp is incompetent.
It just gets annoying when you don't have the means to do anything to them/us/me....... I always find it strange when im able to sit in one place and not just on the MCC for the whole match and not get bothered and go 20/0
Remember CCP is not incompetent. Its the squad members to stupid to look up.......
I have been in matches where the Redberries have everything covered.. Bravo to them... that's what you need to be like

Never had a problem shooting a sniper on an MCC, they are a sitting duck up there........... got taken out plenty of times too

If your very careful you can land them up there no problem, its even easier since they sorted the Derpships out in 1.6... but you do have to come down careful. one heavy knock and they want to go up
The Caldari MCC is easiest to land on. has a nice flat top....
The Gallente (spelt wrong?) is the best to shoot of, does not have any angle to slide of....... just so you all know
But like I have said you are a sitting duck once your up there with no ammo support..... bummer

As for the MCC snipers... They're like tower snipers. I switch to the free sniper suit available to everyone, shoot them till they quit spawning/landing there, and then go back to my forge suit. I've never had an occasion, except head glitching, where I couldn't pick a sniper off of an MCC if he was in a position to be able to hit me as well.
Well said, and I do MCC sniping too... someone who understands the 'if you can shoot me I can shoot you' rule.... unless that blue shield flash thing happens
