As an EVE player I hope they don't allow ISK transfer from EVE to Dust. At least not until the DUST economy becomes a real thing and ISK can be earned in Dust at a rate much greater than it can be now. But who knows when that will be.
An average Eve player can make 50 mil an hour or more. Wormhole dwellers can take in billions a week and some alliances probably have trillions in ISK and assets.
Unless they incorporate a steep exchange rate (which would be a great ISK sink on the EVE side) EVE players could flood Dust with ISK and the risks in Dust would be nothing.
Protostomping and vehicle spamming is already bad enough, EVE ISK would kill the game. I'm sure someday the economies will be merged but we are nowhere near that yet. Hopefully CCP is more focused on fixing bugs and adding new content than working on the Dust economy. Especially since the EVE economy will always overshadow the Dust economy. |

Yup, makes sense and I was wondering when I made the post how they intended to balance it out.

Isk from Eve would be most welcome.
There are already a few corps in Dust that are making BILLIONS of isk from there districts selling clones, and they ALWAYS run proto and officer stuff.
Also there are players like me who was here since early beta and some of os have 100-500 mill. Isk and ALWAYS run proto and officer stuff.
Getting Isk from Eve would NOT change this at all, but it would give new and poor players a chance to play in the best gear they can, and have a better chance VS protos. |

As someone who has also played eve since the second genesis and has used Kain's services, I can vouch for him being legit

Eve ISK would not help new players. It would make the divide between new and old players greater. New players might be able to obtain ISK from EVE but they still won't have the SP to use the best gear. Meanwhile vets run the best gear all day because they can and it costs them nothing if they too are getting ISK from EVE.
Also the conflict created in Dust over districts and the "billions" these districts create would become all but pointless. Why go through the trouble and grinding of PC battles when you could get so much more ISK from EVE. Most corporations that own districts already have more ISK than they know what to do with. Without EVE ISK someone will always want to take those districts so they can have tons of ISK. With EVE ISK no one will care about districts and the chump change they produce until districts effect EVE sovereignty. And that is a long way off.
I'd bet the richest corporation in Dust still has far less money than the richest single Player in Eve. The ISK difference between the two games is too large. |

There's currently a notable disparity between the value of isk in EVE and in Dust.
For example, if you think about what -ú20 will get you in EVE, we're talking more than a billion (afaik), compared to about 1.5 merc packs Dust-side. Which, personally, I would probably fork out a few hundred million for. At worst we're talking a 2:1 disparity, but at least that's based on some presumptuous maths.
Without addressing that issue, we may see complete EVE dominance of any player market that allows such transfers.
No.
