If you are fitting an AR instead of a HMG after learning that hmg's are laser accurate, you are a moron. I've been pounding fake heavies into the ground with my mh-82, scouts mediums, they are all in trouble. Been sniping suits off of towers with my mh-82, that was fun. Killed laser guys faster than laser guys could kill me at range. weeeee.

As annoying as you guys find it - a heavy with AR is not a competitive player. At best it's just a bit of support, because a 1v1 medium range dance between heavy vs any other class finds the heavy taking a lot more shots, and landing a lot less. Even with AR we have to get close up so your hitbox isn't so hard to hit compared to ours.

I used to do Heavy/AR when the Breach Assault rifle was viable way back when.

The other day I did an experiment, use a AR in place of an HMG and see how it outperforms the HMG.

Heavies like being Heavies. Slow movement, high ehp. They should hold whatever weapon they want, especially when there HMG is a gimped pea shooter that is inferior to the SMG.

If you guys want to say Heavies can't have light weapons, than sure, if Logis can only have sidearms.

That way we can just turn the game into Assault 514 and delete the heavy and logi class. We will leave the scouts in game for the lulz.
