As has already been stated, about 2 weeks ago I brought up the issue that I believed it was time to pull from PC.
With the upcoming changes to FW and the possible increase in squad size to 16 that may be coming, I consider FW to be a more efficient use of our time. We could very quickly get a full squad of 16 together have a brief tactical rundown and an AAR after the battle, with none of it being time restricted to just one battle every 24 hours. We can organise this no matter the time zone.
With lectures and the semi regular Q&A's I do in Lecture.D-UNI (thank you to CCP FoxFour for joining us last night by the way) we can serve our stated mission to help and be an interactive version of the tutorial.
PC was a fun adventure and we made back our investment plus a bit more but in its current iteration it's a ball breaker to arrange matches and the time spent in negotiation by our staff can be better spent elsewhere.
I'm not ruling out a return to PC at some point in the future but until we know the mechanics of PC 2.0 and we've also left Molden Heath I don't see us going back to it anytime soon.

I'm not going to comment on this whole he said this/that/when Chinese whispers because I'm not not one to stifle personal expression (unless it gets hurtful or personal) and its impossible to police said expression in the semi anonimous worlds of the internet. Another reason is that I left school a quarter of a century ago...
Plus players tend to adopt a 'Forum Warrior' stance in these threads, that 99 times out of 100 is usually completely contrary to how they actually are when you speak to them over Comms..
As to the review that was posted and spoken of here, it was generally favourable to the UNI, that much is true, but there was reference to a member of D-UNI being referenced as to a female dog which I found rather distasteful so I reported the post. As anyone in D-UNI will testify, I have a zero tolerance attitude to harassment of female players in my corp and that extends to the forums as well. Call me old fashioned in that regard if you want but I'm not going to apologise for it.
But threads like this do make me smile if for one reason only. They demonstrate a level of passion for the game, a game that I might remind you, is generally considered as unfinished, lacking in significant features and on the wrong format (get it on PS4 ASAP CCP). It's a passion I share and one that allows me to talk for over an hour in Q&A's and podcasts, even when there's no new content.
It's part of the reason I want to stand for the CPM when the elections come and am prepared for my real name being out there as a result and not hide behind an avatar any more.
