I always wanted to put Uplinks on random places*. The side of a building for instance, then sit back and watch the spawned fall while playing Wiley Coyote.
* most likely to get back at the Blue Berries that drop uplinks facing walls or underneath a location that a heavy cannot get out of. |

This is old, I had seen this on one of my corp mates and we took a video. We were not able to replicate it and only I could see it out of my squad. We just thought it was a glitch and didnt think you could actually spawn at the location of the link. To me it seemed to just be a visual glitch. Like I said I have video Link

This would have been pretty funny back in the murder taxi days, run up to a dead squaddy, toss a prox and a remote explosive on him, have him chase after LAVs or tanks.

i can see this exploited in PC to create invincible drop uplinks on objectives. Teamkill, put uplink on corpse, revive and the guy then just has to run into the objective and die. Viola undestroyable uplink to keep spawning on a objective.

Hi, thank you for contacting us.
We tried to reproduce it by following those steps multiple times but were not able to reproduce it even though we revived the player just after dropping uplinks down. Occasionally, I deployed an uplink very close to a supply depot and the uplink was successfully deployed on the ground but I didnGÇÖt find any problem from my perspective until my colleague told me that he saw a uplink attaching on my body in his view in the battle. My colleague tried to spawn at this mobile CRU but actually he spawn at the location nearby the supply depot was. Do you have some different steps perhaps to reproduce this?

im sure a lot of ppl have seen this. Dragon Ball Z has come to DUST 514. me and my friend were jumping out of MCC. i noticed that he was walking around. but he still had his fall enhancer was still going off. i told him he was Goku. thats when he looked at me and called me Vagetia. he called me Vagetia because the enhancer was goin off on me too. we walked around the whole game dueling each other with melee and plasma cannons. lol. DBZ . please find a way to make this happen more. i luv it.

Yeah and the uplink mentioned in the OP worked perfectly. I spawned into it when I joined the game. It was a mobile UL/CRU on an infantry merc. |
