Why is the Amarr logi so amazing at advanced level? Did no one look at a 3-3-3+sidearm layout and think it was OP for advanced? |

Why are you complaining about the Advanced level suit? The Amarr Logi is far worse in the long run, as previously stated. There is no point in complaining about the Advanced Amarr Logi when the Proto Caldari Logi has 5 High Slots and 4 Low Slots I wouldn't say far worse, the sidearm is worth at least one slot, and arguably two given the calogi proto struggles to fill all its slots - it has 40 less CPU than the Amarr. The Amarr logi is more or less balanced at proto but out of whack at advanced, IMO. |

I have a noobish question and this seems as good a place as any to ask it. If I have say Gallente logistics level 5, then get Amarr level 3, do I get 5 armour repair when I'm using the Amarr suit or 3 armour repair?
The regen bonus is described as a 'logistics' bonus rather than as a racial specific bonus, but the Dust fitting tool suggests that you need the racial specific skill even to get the generic logistics bonus. It's not something I'm actually thinking of doing, but just wondered how it works. |

Especially if you pile on plate after plate. dude try this fit and tell me its not good at assaulting Logistics Ako 1 imperial scrambler rifle , 1 scrambler pistol (your choice) 1 locust grenade low slots- 1 complex armour plate , 2 complex armour repair and 1 enhanced shield regulator high slots - 2 enhances shield extenders and 1 enhanced shield enegiser equipment all std - 1 dropuplink, 1 nano hive , and 1 flux active scanner , the hp regen on this fit is amazing and it will serve you well when assaulting any position as long as you know when to take cover , in this fit I can go as little as 100 armour and regen to full hp within 12 seconds it really is good for hit run hide assault tactics . Looks to me like a shoddy fit, the suit doesnt know what it wants to be, you wanna make it a shield regen fit while also having good repair, while having actually little shield EHP & Armor to repair back up (+-220 ish shield & 367 ish armor), my assault suit has more shields and more armor and can sustain multiple firefights. Sure they both come back up faster, but during one gunfight, with someone that can aim will blow right trough you, after yer dead, that regen means squat. Ive tried many fits on my Proto amarr logi, it pales at offensive based gameplay vs my assault suit. +1 because I agree with your assessment of this fit (somehow manages to have neither tank nor damage mods .) But I thought you told me in a different thread that you thought the logi was a better assault suit than the assault? |

Ive tried many fits on my Proto amarr logi, it pales at offensive based gameplay vs my assault suit. I agree with your assessment of this fit - somehow manages to have neither serious tank nor damage mods . my suit knows exactly what its purpose is I don't use damage mods because well I don't need them with my imperial with prof 4, honestly try the fit then tell me its pants I go 13+ kills and over 2000wp 80% of the time I run this fit , its all in the play style hit run hide and regen, as I said I can have full hp within 12 seconds even if im stripped to bellow 100 armour. If you're a decent player those scores don't tell me much about the fit. But if it works for you that's fine, just saying I'd prefer a bit more firepower and defences, even if it does mean sitting on a rep hive for 30 seconds after the meatier engagements. |
