But I, personally, like the Minmatar slot layout. At Proto it's 4/4/4, correct? That could make for some interesting combinations.
I also like the Caldari Assault's slot layout. I could do 500+ damage with Proto Swarms on a Caldari Assault suit :D

Well? They are the only ones to have a Sidearm, they only have 3 equipment slots, the Proto variant is not much better than the Advanced, and the PG gimp gives me major problems when fitting anything.
I see nothing wrong with it.

Don't forget that the Minmatar Logi is better by far as well. With the hacking bonus and the 4/4/4 layout, it's just so versatile.

Why are you complaining about the Advanced level suit? The Amarr Logi is far worse in the long run, as previously stated. There is no point in complaining about the Advanced Amarr Logi when the Proto Caldari Logi has 5 High Slots and 4 Low Slots

When im holding a point with my massdriver and you come after me or get in my face I have a prof sixkin for you to eat bullets. What does a min have. Um nothing. I could destroy your puny Minnie logi anyday anytime and make you eat that statement. You dont need a Sidearm as long as you've got a good primary.
I find myself using all 60 bullets just before someone is dead very often. And there have been times when I ran out of ammo in my Primary and had no time to drop a hive.
Also, the sidearm can save your life if you're running a Scrambler Rifle. If you're close to overheating, switch to your sidearm and kill.

The regen bonus is described as a 'logistics' bonus rather than as a racial specific bonus, but the Dust fitting tool suggests that you need the racial specific skill even to get the generic logistics bonus. It's not something I'm actually thinking of doing, but just wondered how it works.
No, you would have to skill Amarr Logi all the way up to get the overall Logi bonus.
