Besides the obvious ghost os a dead clone throwing a grenade at you 2 seconds after he's died, I've noticed the 2 weapons I use have an insane LAD(Life after death) rate <------- and yes, I made that last term up.
SCR- Sometimes, when facing a Gallente with an AR, I just have no choice but to barely move and line up a kill volley. I know it's a do-or-die last ditch effort and often enough I get killed in attempt. But, after I've died, my last SCR round is on its way to the target and it lands and I get rewarded the kill. The SCR has a slower mps(meters per second) projectile. Its another balance they put into the gun. So, the LAD effect is mostly just me being lucky and taking a guy down with me.
Shotguns- This one annoys the frick out of me. When you pop someone head on with a shotgun and you instantly die, and for a split second you thought you were robbed of the kill, but once again, after you die, your opponent dies because your shot took longer to reach him than his did. I think that's not fair. Why should a gun that gets that up close and personal have a slower mps projectile speed? If I shot the guy enough to warrant a kill, why should I get robbed of a clone/dropsuit just because the shot took 0.1 seconds longer to get there? And with a shotgun, usually you have to be 5m or less to get a 100% OHK on the appropriate suit, so how can projectile rate have that stark of a difference at that distance? |

I normally find it amusing when both I and my opponent die in a gunfight. I just find it irritating when someone is dead but they spammed all their grenades just before.

I've (non-intentionally) shot with a FG after I died. I was continuing to charge it after I was killed be a Core. It was hilariously confusing to me. I'm sure the person I killed was confused too.

Don't forget remote explosives, some of my suicide tactics involve charging into a group of enemies, throwing remotes everywhere and after dying, blow up everyone.

Some weapons, like the plasma cannon, work in reverse. If you die after you fire, sometimes the shot is 'cancelled', despite you hearing the firing noise and everything.

same with Swarm Launchers and AV nades. Nothing like trying to kill a HAV and for some reason the volley I fired disappeared because I died, allowing the HAV to live... -_- |
