Stealth infiltration:
hi, my name is Quil, and my hobby is taking out proto snipers, with militia or basic sniper rifles
Oh. And also finding them with cheap 150m flux scanners because they've put all their low slots into armor instead of stealth

btw, why would anyone want to run the Ishukone, for only 10 dam more than the NT-511, but over twice the price? I'd rather just run with a charged. .... if I could fit it

Define"better"?
btw, I at one point got to compare the standard sniper rifle, vs nt511, vs tac, vs BPO "Covenant" sniper rifle.
If memory serves correctly.. the Covenant had marginally better zoom! ? ! ?? And by better, I mean when I scoped on a fixed object (turret), the reticle circle appeared to cover the smallest amount of the turret. Which, if the reticle was same on-screen size for all (duh, i forgot to measure) means that it actually had the best zoom.
Which is rather odd, considering the tac is the one with allegedly the improved zoom, out of the 3 of them ? |

mini rehak wrote:Hi, My name is mini rehak and I am a Thale sniper. I run it on a Proto Sentinel with 1600 total hp. I only have Prof.3 and run with a complex dmg mod. I can take two clips from a std sniper and still live to pick off their head with my Thales.
Am I a bad person?
no, no, not at all. Nothing a little ZN-28 therapy can't fix, that is. Please, sit back, relax.... tell me about your mother....

Gahh. I can almost never hit a moving target. Some people say to aim ON the guy, some people say aim a little ahead... but seems like I'm always left with a couple of results. either
a) dust plume ahead of him b) dust plume behind him c) So..umm.. did i hit him or what?
and when I target over him again, seems like still full everything, so... AURGH!

Hey Atiim,
I FINALLY got around to unlocking the Ishukone. And, sad to say... I'm underwhelmed.
I tried swapping between NT511 and Ishukone. I saw NO difference in scope. Have you tried actualy measuring it against something, and if so, what?
That, coupled with its ludicrous cpu requirements... I had to swap out a plate, for a CPU extender??!! ... means I dunno if I'll ever use it on a regular basis.
I mean come on. 10 lousy extra damage, with no ROF change, for all that?!?
So there's a data point for the original poster.

Update: I tried the Charged.
Whereas Ishukone is a total waste of time and money, the charged... Oh YES! THIS, is what sniping is supposed to be like!!
After spending gazillions of SP on sniper ops 5, who wouldn't spend a lousy 31k more, to use charged ??? Gah. I dont understand why anyone would use the Ishukone. EVER. Hence this poll, methinks.
