Please refer to this thread for more details and discussion on this topic, as that thread inspired this quick test.
I've heard it said that low meta assault rifles such as the militia or the exile are more stable and accurate than high meta rifles, such as the Duvolle. In an attempt to shed a little more light on this issue, I went ahead and ran a real quick test to try and show these two rifles back to back, to let you come to your own conclusions.
From my brief test, I can't seem to see much of a difference at all. Both rifles start to kick at the same time, and from there, the dispersion feels fairly random.
Don't take my word for it though, watch it here and let me know what you think.

I use the toxin for effectively what is an accuracy bonus due to lower recoil, with my profs it's a duvolle with pin point accuracy. From that brief test the kick felt exactly the same to me

I only watched about 3 minutes of the video so sorry if you already did that. I would but the bullet holes instantly disappear :/

TechMechMeds wrote:That is strange, it looks the same, I can assure you its definitely noticeable when shooting at someone otherwise I'd be using my duvolle rather than my toxin. I'm not here to say one way or the other, I simply wanted to have some video to help in this discussion.
If you can think of better tests, let me know and I'll do my best to run them for you all.

For dispersion find a non-white wall next time.
Love your announcement lady she sounds like she speaking over the intercoms on the map instead into your helmet.
For your next video test 'feather firing' see how doing very short controlled bursts has an effect I know its going to be hard to get about the same amount of ammo dispensed a pull but overall we're looking for reduction of the negative effects of triggering down.
Also SCR demonstrations if you can ty. I just tossed it together when I saw Cats thread, just to put some video out there for people to look at. I'll try to find something better to test on but I don't really know what would be good, especially since we don't have custom matches.
I'll try to test feather fire, and I have no points in SCR, nor do I intend to :/
I'd rather take all my infantry skills and scrap them, but it is what it is.
