I will be on the lookout for members of my alliance exhibiting this dumb, and will deal with them appropriately. Proto has nothing to do with it. It had little do with it before, it has even less to do with it now. TTK is so fast, that what suit you're wearing is irrelevant. If you have to blame your suit on your death, it's just your refusal to admit you're a bad player. The game balance comes down to organization. Yes, matches are heavily imbalanced. No, it has nothing to do with proto suits. Most "protostompers" are actually running full organized squads. And they have Planetary Conquest experience. Experience they're more than happy to use on the unwashed masses in pub matches. The fact that they have proto (largely just because they can afford it, from PC income), has little to do with their success. If you want a way to sort players, it needs to be granting solo players a playground where squads aren't allowed. So that individuals can play on even turf. New players can start there to learn the feel of the mechanics and the gameplay, explore the maps, etc. Then they can hit up the squad finder to take it to the next step, having already learned the basics. That's funny, when I actually see them using anything other than proto (which is not often, mind you) I kill them. Try again. Challenge them to a match on even gear. If you can put together a team that can beat 0.H with both sides being in standard gear, then you might have an argument. I'm sure they've got 16 players that are more than happy to defend their reputation and humiliate you at the same time. Organized squads should not be pit against solo players with no organization. Incorrect. Correlation does not equal causation, it has nothing to do with the suit. If you can't kill an unorganized proto suit, you're bad. PC is broken and allowed the current protostompers to monopolise ISK to fund players running full proto in pubgames, what we have currently is an amalgamation of all the issues this game has had over the past 6 months and it is game breaking ! You are free to not take part in the protest that is your choice Beta was a lot of fun because TTK was longer. It really has nothing to do with ISK or suit level. I'll be actively hunting down the sort of lowlifes who participate in your event. From now and going forwards. And when I do, I'll don a proto suit just to spite you. You know what else was different about beta? Proto suits were a lot more powerful. Due to current TTK, proto's pretty useless. But back then, a proto suit meant life and death.
