Because if there are, you might wanna put them off and just release all of the remaining officer weapons at once. If you were to release officer weapons for the new AR's before MD's, PLC's, ScR's, etc., you would be in for about 50 pages of rage threads. So just... hold off on them if you do have them in reserve.... wait to release them in one big group or release the older weapon's officer weapons a patch sooner than the new AR's. It'll save you a lot of time moderating disputes.
Now then....
WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO MY OFFICER COMBAT RIFLE DAY 1?????

I agree but!... how about doing the right thing and releasing content as a whole and not a slow process that makes everyone rage. Sorry bout that scouts, heavys, pilots, and tankers. DAMN almost left out cal logi,.. and av. Where was I going with this?

i wouldnt mind seeing officer variants of the more "specialized" new weapons for sure... theyd be far more rare than the original officer variants too and hence... more valuable. id be really stoked if they released new officer weapons in context with what is currently happening in eve and fw tbh. id like to know the story behind why these officers got a special gun named after em
ps. if/when new officer weapons are released id love to see people who have really stuck with the weapon through nerfs get some kind of base stockpile... its been hard im sure for veteran laser rifle/mass driver/plasma cannon/shotgunners/nova knifers / well... pretty much anybody who uses a weapon thats been nerfed into the ground forever. so if the majority of your kills are with one of those weapons id be super happy if 20 of them showed up in your inventory... just for staying the course |

If I had an Officer SCR, I'd use it. I'd use every time I got into a match against nooberries. I would stack damage mods on it fer dayz, and call the class H4X3r 1337... that's what I would do... |

This happen Soon(tm)... after market opened for all... and after changes in loot tables and after PvE.
So this is 'no need' for 'put them now' :)
There will be way to get it and people slowly put them to market.
No one will be '#$#%#$' that he died from officer weapon after. (low impact for game)
