for me it won't be worth playing unless they fixed the bug on dropship turrets that disallows my gunners to aim properly around the ground in front of the ship without their turret position getting reset!
In other words, no assault dropship + no working side turrets = no dropship firing where I can bloody see in front of me

How else did CCP realize to multiply the base heavy HP by 1.1?
Well, they DID also let the Active Scanner, ARs, FG, Sharpshooter, and Assault Logi go under their radar.
But, They probably DID use math in 1.7.

My prediction (as far as vehicle meta is concerned):
Active mods will be very important. If the posted fitting tool is relative to what we are getting, active mods trump brick tanking virtually every time I've looked (but then again, I'm kind of a novice vehicle fitter, so we'll see).
Shield tanked vehicles will be superior: Easier to fit (CPU seems to be there limiting factor now that the skill was redacted), instant booster regenning, better shield hardeners, and increased ammo capabilities.
Armour loose active repair, still better hardeners and plates but not by much, access to high slot mods but that only goes so far.

Reason is, there are a lot of immature people on these forums.
