The coolant gets released as soon as the weapon fires, and to keep up with your fire rate it fires that coolant super quickly, making your weapon go wild when you fire at a high speed.

I'm sure if you had a precise enough instrument, you could measure the "recoil" of turning a flashlight on. That doesn't sound right... Isn't the reason that photons can travel at the speed of light is because they have no mass?

Beats me bro, I'm not Michio Kaku XD All I know is that subatomic particles do some weird stuff and seem to break the laws of physics you may be right though *shrugs shoulders* "break the laws of physics" They don't break the laws of physics. They just have different laws that apply to them, it's not the same as breaking :P
But yeah, subatomic particles behave weirdly, and any attempt to bring them together with normal physics in equations and **** usually doesn't end well.

But even so, it would take HUUUUUUGE amounts of light to actually produce any form of noticable recoil.

Photons have energy.

The light is travelling in a straight line, but space has been curved in onto itself. Proving this during an eclipse earned Einstein a Nobel Prize. Fun fact: Gravity is one of the weakest forces in the universe.

Luna Angelo wrote:The theory of relativity states that matter cannot travel through space FASTER than the speed of light. Going the speed of light is not going faster, so, therefore, technically, humans could, theoretically go as fast as a photon. A black hole has gravity so powerful that nothing, not even light, with it's infinite momentum, can escape. The point of no return is called the event horizon and, as I said, it is the point at which no object can escape.
About subatomic particles, you cannot use the same laws of physics as with the atomic or visual world. You get into quantum physics, and quantum mechanics.
And all of this goes out the window if you throw in chaos theory. Yes, but in order for matter to travel at the speed of light it needs: 1. To have infinite energy Or 2. To have no mass
I don't think infinite energy is possible, so no mass?
