This was probably the most fun I've had in Dust in a long time; I always enjoy scouts but they're lacking a niche that makes them feel deserving of their low stats but with the dual light weapons, the extra shield and nice boost to speed they felt 'right' - at least for this particular suit.
The fun? Knowing that I only had a limited number of something that was going to be near irreplaceable unless I did very well made for a more tense, exciting and enjoyable gameplay.
The bummer? Not having many suits left, switching back to one of my other suits and feeling incredibly, dreadfully, depressingly bored. I can't even express how badly I want to enjoy Dust more. Weekly events like these would be awesome. |

I don't even want more suits; just for events that are an actual challenge and give the gear I'm using meaning by having it become irreplaceable unless you perform well. ISK is easy to come by thanks to BPOs and milita gear, so any gear that I use now I don't care about losing. This definitely made it more tense.
The dropsuit build is a good one, however, if you don't mind being extra squishy. A commando-esque Scout suit is a pretty good idea. |

Yeah, I'm kind of in agreement. I've got a commando alt that I use and while he's fun to play, his lack of mobility combined with the relatively low shield/armor and lack of slots really create a lack of synergy. This felt like how the commando class should have been developed and would have made for a better Amarr Light dropsuit. |
