I would say the same to you. I have found my freedom on the fields of war. I am immortal, not a dog of any state, nor a simple gun for hire, never a slave to monsters. It is in freeing myself from the cycle of life and death that I can see. None are pure, not you, not your empress, and not your master. We are all monsters that wear the skin of mankind, but remarkably few are willing to admit it. I am willing to admit. I am willing to bear the sin and the virtue of that truth. To stand for the day when none may be as monsters, but as free men, not separated by creed, or clan, or morality. What is it that you fight for? Denak, I am, I always have been and always will be a monster. But again, I am wiling to admit it. That is my separation, I am not torturing for "freedom", or some twisted faith, I do it to get what I need from others, no higher purpose. I give them a moment of pain, which, I prefer to actually use painless poisons for, or in some cases, no poison at all and merely the threat of a poison, in exchange for an easy life far from the conflicts they've been abandoned to. How would hardship inflicted on you by another ever sway you to the faith which demanded they inflict that pain on you?
Its is not that we inflict anything on our slaves, we simply seek to teach them that toil in the service of a higher power is worthy of your blood, sweat, and tears as it is and has been for all Amarr for all time.
We do not just simply put slaves to work, that is not the duty of the Holder, nor is it to retain control. The duty of a Holder is to educate.
To teach the word of God is their duty, it cannot be forced unto unwilling ears....but when I say that even the unwilling might change their minds if they hear the word of God put to them.
It is not unreasonable to believe that some people simply want the comfort and consolation that the Amarr Faith can bring. To love, have hope, to share, to educate, to serve, all of these things sit central to our beliefs.
I do not like to see suffering and torment in mortals, such is not my way, I show respect to the slaves that are to serve me and appreciate the toil they might endure in their own spiritual pilgrimage to find God.

I now have seen that there is no purpose in this world beyond the one we create for ourselves. It is for this reason that I can die a thousand times and get up a thousand and one. This reason allows me to fight on the behalf of the damned, the lost, and those without even the voice to protest what their masters do in the name of their faith.
You might be a noble demon, Templar. But you are a monster no less and no greater than myself.
You have not listened to the Word but that is your choice. There is only one great sin in this existence, and that is to deny God with your every fibre of being.... in this life you have but one chance to choose to believe. I am one who would believe in redemption, and I do to hope you can be redeemed.
I am not demon, such words only bring me shame.
"So the Lord sent forth the Chosen, to bring forth the light of faith And those who embrace his love Shall be saved by his grace For we are his shepherds in the darkness His Angels of Mercy. But those who turn away from his light, And reject his true word Shall be struck down by his wrath For we are his retribution incarnate His Angels of Vengeance" - The Scriptures, Book of Reclaiming 4:45
I am one of His Avenging Angels.

Where is his wrath for those who cry out in pain from which they cannot escape?! for the child whose mother was executed for treason she didn't commit!? For the Bastard who carried that order out?! Where, Templar?!
I am the blade in the night who silences the false gods as they sleep in their gilded chambers. I am the poison that courses through their followers as they doubt the power of their false idol. I am the Heathen without the gates of heaven and the doubt within each heart. No angel may slay me, and no faith may banish me for I am an ideal. A world free of sin.
Its is not God's role to punish the sinners for their actions, He creates, we maintain, you made your choices, it is my Duty, the duty of my brothers to hunt you.
Eventually you shall reap what you have sown not matter how many pretty, meaningless words you try to shield yourself with.

I am a monster, the worst kind, that which hunts other monsters yet cares not for the sons and daughters of man who might stand in my way. I will destroy it all, and when the great four lie in ruins we shall all be freed. From righteous lies, from false freedom, from the petty rat race. Then, may true freedom come about. For all this determination Templar, we might have been friends in a different life. May your faith shield you when we one day meet on the field.
I would agree if it weren't for the 180mm of plate armour separating me from the outside world.
